ACTIVITIES AT THE CHURCH

The community of the Chelsea Church of Christ provides and or hosts a number of activities for the surrounding area. Note that many people with disabilities find our programmes friendly and excepting. Even though we are not a disability service.

These activities include :-

Free Community Breakfast -
every Wednesday - from 8 am - 10 am
Chelsea Men's Shed -
9.30 am - 12.30 pm, on Wednesday and Thursday mornings - for further details go to the shed's website
Work for the Dole -
Hosting a creative program providing a Certificate II in Business and offering administration and publishing resources to the community.
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 9am - 4pm.

Men's parenting and support groups -
Two successful programmes already run during 2009 , currently taking enrolments for men's parenting group and "Circle of Fire" self help group.

"Dads in Progress" is proposed

Kingston/Bayside LETS -
Local Energy Transfer System.
Instead of parting with your hard earned CASH, you exchange your skills.
LETS is a non-profit community exchange system based on the idea that ALL people have valuable skills to offer their community.
